Yumi Seino’s third album, released in 1983, and one of the more distinctive entries in her catalog. The entire album is arranged by Masanori Sasaji, with a sophisticated sound moving beyond straightforward city pop into new wave, synth-pop, dub and European-flavored pop.

The excellent backing includes Hideo Yamaki on drums, Takayuki Hijikata on guitar, and Yasuaki Shimizu on saxophone, clarinet and bass clarinet, with Seigen Ono also contributing charango and pan pipe. Particularly recommended are the strange, atmospheric “Chez Laurette,” the cool urban groove of “Katamuku,” and the deep late-night mood of “Mayonaka no Denwa.” A sophisticated and slightly leftfield Japanese pop album with plenty of character beyond the usual city-pop sound.

VG+ (Very Good Plus)	Minor wear, light surface noise, no major flaws — a solid average used copy.
VG (Very Good)	Visible wear and surface noise. Plays through without skipping.
G+ (Good Plus)	Heavily used. Significant wear or scratches, but still playable.
