This one hits that sweet spot between sophisticated AOR and club-ready Japanese jazz-pop — tight drums, bright keys, and clean horn colors, all mixed to move fast. With songs tied to Billy Joel, Fagen/Becker, and Don Grusin, it plays like an “imported” West Coast set, re-cut for 1983 Tokyo. No filler from start to finish.
