Moon Rabbits is the kind of record that makes more sense when you know who Yas-Kaz is. He was not simply a new age artist, but a percussionist and composer shaped by dance, ritual, and cross-cultural sound, and that background is all over this album. The music moves through airy electronics, hand-played pulse, and a warm, almost tropical spaciousness, giving it a feel that is less “healing music” than a lived-in landscape with breath and body inside it.
