Showa Godzilla drama-comp straight from Toho’s 60s kaiju run, packed with dialogue, SFX and Ifukube/Sato themes.
This volume 3 in the Super Kaiju Godzilla Movie Series highlights the mid/late-Showa stretch of the franchise, where Jun Fukuda’s direction brought in more adventure tone and Masaru Sato’s lighter grooves, but you still get the core Godzilla power from Akira Ifukube. Because it is a drama-style pressing, it is perfect for tokusatsu completists, SFX archivists, and shops that want to stock all five volumes together. If you are selling to overseas Godzilla fans, point out that this is the 1980 Columbia series, not the later KING reissues.
