Rotation is SHOGUN’s 1979 second album, led by Fujimaru Yoshino and built on tight band playing, smooth AOR taste, and a sharp city-night mood. “Bad City” and “Lonely Man” are the obvious draws, but tracks like “Imagination” and “Yesterday, Today And Tomorrow” show the album’s deeper mellow groove. For Record Monster, this is not just a drama-theme LP, but a strong Japanese city-pop/AOR record with real player appeal.
