Originally issued by Holp as an elementary “music education” program, this 11-LP collection is much deeper than a standard children’s record — an audio archive of 1970s Japan featuring jazz sessions, modern composition, spoken word, choir, folk/field elements, and studio performances.
The credits include Masahiko Satoh, Minako Yoshida, Norio Maeda, Takeshi Shibuya, Akira Miyazawa, Jimmy Takeuchi, George Otsuka Quintet, Tsuyoshi Yamamoto and more. Vol.5 “Boku no Ginga Tetsudo” is especially notable, moving from poem reading and environmental textures into Minako Yoshida’s piano/vocal performance of Miyazawa Kenji’s “Hoshi Meguri no Uta.”
Records only: 11 discs in individual sleeves. Original outer box and companion books/booklets are not included. Most discs play very well, including the key volumes. LP 3 & 4 have some scratches that cause occasional audible noise in places; the other 9 discs are in excellent to NM-level condition. Priced accordingly.

| VG+ (Very Good Plus) | Minor wear, light surface noise, no major flaws — a solid average used copy. |
| VG (Very Good) | Visible wear and surface noise. Plays through without skipping. |
| G+ (Good Plus) | Heavily used. Significant wear or scratches, but still playable. |
+ / − may be added to indicate slight variations (e.g. VG+, EX−).
We visually inspect every record, and we clean each one before shipping (play-testing when needed). Even new or great-looking vinyl—especially some Japanese pressings—can have light background noise. We grade carefully by eye and ear, but it’s still a human call, so please check the notes before buying.
