Welcome To The Minoru’s Land is strongest when framed not simply as a fusion side project, but as a remarkably early one-man electronic statement. Built almost entirely by Minoru Mukaiya through synthesizers, drum machines, and programmed sequencing, the album moves with playful futurism, clean melodic sense, and a bright, technically exact sound that still feels impressively modern for 1985. Rather than band-driven Casiopea energy, this is a more self-contained, imaginative studio vision.
