Glossy, metropolitan city-pop—bright mid-tempos, lush strings/keys, and Matsubara’s clear, confident vocal carried by LA-tight rhythm and top Tokyo players.
From the buoyant hooks of “Neat na Gogo 3-ji” to the dusk-blue title cut “Cupid,” the album blends West-coast lift and Tokyo studio finesse. Side-A’s LA crew Dr. STRUT gives crisp motion; Side-B adds Ponta/Imatsuyoshi/Okazawa with sax fire from Jake H. Conception—polished but song-first throughout.
