Dope new-age ambient yokobue trip — 1983 Japanese left-field classic.
Bamboo-flute phrases drift through dubby space, vocoder haze, and soft synth shadows, while the low end carries a subtle dope funk pulse. Shigeaki Saegusa’s arrangements feel both ritualistic and futuristic, shaped by sharp players like Hiroyuki Namba, Minoru Mukaiya, and Yoshihiro Naruse.
