T-Wave is not just bright fusion. With Mimi Izumi Kobayashi and Kiyosumi Ishikawa on keyboards, Akihiro Tanaka and Getao Takahashi on bass, three different drummers across the album, Hiroyuki Sugawara on percussion, and Tetsu Nakamura plus a full horn team on key tracks, the record moves between jazz-funk tightness, Latin propulsion, and open-air summer melody with real player depth. “Early Bird” gives it that clean lift, “Mambo No.6” adds tropical fire, and “My Secret Beach” softens the mood without losing the groove.
