Masayoshi Takanaka’s first solo statement after Sadistic Mika Band—an island-breeze jazz-funk/AOR set cut for Kitty in 1976. His liquid lead and razor-clean comping ride plush Rhodes and percussion across mid-tempo grooves and sunny sambas. A heavyweight studio cast powers the feel: Hiroshi Sato on keys, Tsugutoshi Goto on bass, Tatsuo Hayashi on drums, with Shigeya Hamaguchi adding vivid percussion. Plenty of loop-ready intros and crisp rhythm-guitar transients make this both a collector’s staple and a beatmaker’s secret weapon.
