1983 Kitty-era city-fusion — Takanaka’s guitar rides sequencers, with Yuji Toriyama and a stacked Tokyo session cast.
Can I Sing? marks the moment Masayoshi Takanaka starts building tracks with sequencers and programmed rhythm — clean, futuristic, and sharply paced.
That “moving” feel comes from the personnel: Yuji Toriyama’s rhythm guitar and Linn/sequencer programming sits right beside Takanaka’s lead touch, while the cast shifts per track (Yoshiaki Naruse, Daiji Okai, etc.). And “NOON” lands differently thanks to Takao Kisugi’s vocal.
