With Anthony Jackson on bass, Steve Jordan on drums, Steve Khan on guitar, and Manolo Badrena on percussion around Masaru Imada’s piano and synthesizers, the album carries real weight, rhythmic finesse, and a rich late-night atmosphere. It moves with Latin jazz lift and jazz-funk smoothness, but the real pull is its scale, elegance, and player-driven depth.
