Full Moon captures Junko Yagami in a sleek early-80s city pop mode, with Ichizo Seo’s arrangements giving the album a clean, urban flow. “Tasogare no Bay City” is the standout, driven by bright synth textures and a sharp guitar groove, but the record also moves nicely through “Naturally,” “Follow Me,” and the softer “Two Notes Samba.” With players such as Tatsuo Hayashi, Hideo Yamaki, Yasuo Tomikura, Chiharu Mikuzuki, Makoto Matsushita, and Pecker involved, this is more than a familiar female vocal LP. It is a polished city pop record with real studio-musician strength underneath.
