Comments:

Original Pressing. Early-80s urban city pop/AOR from Junko Yagami – self-penned songs, tight studio grooves and mellow night-time moods with players like Pecker and Makoto Matsushita in the mix.

Released in 1983 on Yamaha, Full Moon collects eleven originals from Junko Yagami and lyricist Keisuke Yamakawa, moving from the bright opener “Follow Me” and city-pop favorite “Tasogare no Bay City” through softly lit midtempo tunes and the title track’s slow-burn drama. The band is stacked with top studio players – Pecker on percussion, Chiharu Mikuzuki and Yasuo Tomikura on bass, Hideo Yamaki and Tatsuo Hayashi on drums, Makoto Matsushita and Eve on chorus, arrangements by Ichizo Seo – so the rhythm always feels locked while the keys, guitars and backing vocals paint that classic early-80s urban atmosphere. Clean drum and bass intros, Rhodes and piano vamps and open chord sections pop up across the album, making it very friendly for DJs and beatmakers looking for sample-ready grooves that still keep Junko’s melodic, emotional songwriting front and center.

About the Condition

Grade Description
S (Sealed) Still sealed in factory wrap. Never played.
M (Mint) Perfect condition. Looks unplayed with no signs of use. Typically used for records that are brand new or opened but never played.
EX (Excellent) Very clean. May have light scuffs or hairline marks, but plays perfectly.
VG+ (Very Good Plus) Minor wear, light surface noise, no major flaws — a solid average used copy.
VG (Very Good) Visible wear and surface noise. Plays through without skipping.
G+ (Good Plus) Heavily used. Significant wear or scratches, but still playable.

+ / − may be added to indicate slight variations (e.g. VG+, EX−).

We visually inspect every record, and we clean each one before shipping (play-testing when needed). Even new or great-looking vinyl—especially some Japanese pressings—can have light background noise. We grade carefully by eye and ear, but it’s still a human call, so please check the notes before buying.
