1984 Japanese environmental ambient — a Shiseido promo LP that turns birds, water and soft synths into pure resort air.
Promo-only on Shiseido (SSD-1206), A・I・R feels like a perfectly designed listening space: “Forest Side” drifts with bird calls and minimal synth phrases, then “Sea Side” opens into shimmering horizons without ever raising its voice. Many copies were issued in a clear sleeve with an insert (sometimes with the original green bag), and some were even scented for the campaign — a detail that makes this title feel uniquely “of its time.”
