This Boy is not a typical “original album” — it’s Hiroshi Satoh’s 1984–85 era distilled into one LP: tracks originally made for a Japanese ad campaign (JANTZEN), key era highlights, and three additions made specifically for this release (Kioku no Naka no Mirai kara, Gemini, and the Beatles cover “This Boy”).
Even when track titles look familiar, this record has its own identity: Kioku no Naka no Mirai kara appears here in a different version, and Sweet Inspiration ’85 is a re-cut with a new arrangement.
Key credits that matter: Tatsuro Yamashita appears on “Say Goodbye” (guitar), and Shigeru Suzuki features on “Sun Glow” (guitar).
