Issued February 21, 1984 on Dear Heart/RVC, Hi·Touch-Hi·Tech is EPO’s 5th album, arranged across the board by Nobuyuki Shimizu with an all-star studio crew (Shuichi Murakami, Saeko Suzuki, Tsugutoshi Goto, Yasuo Tomikura, Kunio Muramatsu, Hiroki Inui, Yasuyuki Abe). It balances bright radio pop with coastal, mid-tempo moods: “Kuchibiru Nude Sakasemasu” (later a cosmetics-CM hit via Chika Takami’s version), TV-ending favorite “Namida no Crown,” sunrise-ready “Asa no Drive,” and the dusky sway of “Umi-zoi no Aki.” For DJs/selectors, several cuts offer clean intros and steady mid-tempo grids that blend easily—ideal for balearic-leaning sets.

We visually inspect every record, and we clean each one before shipping (play-testing when needed). Even new or great-looking vinyl—especially some Japanese pressings—can have light background noise. We grade carefully by eye and ear, but it’s still a human call, so please check the notes before buying.
