Recorded live in 1982 with the classic Casiopea lineup, Mint Jams captures the band at full power – sharp unison lines, thick slap bass from Tetsuo Sakurai and pinpoint drumming by Akira Jimbo locked to bright synths and chorus-soaked guitar. The set moves from uptempo fusion dancers to midtempo, almost city-pop-adjacent grooves, so it works both as a club-ready record and as a front-to-back listen.
