Cross Point catches Casiopea at the moment their sound became sharper, smoother, and even more groove-driven. Harvey Mason’s production gives the album a polished punch, while “Domino Line” and “Galactic Funk” became enduring live staples, with “Swear,” “Sunnyside Feelin’,” and “A Sparkling Day” showing the band’s mellower side. Tight bass, explosive drums, bright synths, and Issei Noro’s guitar make this one of the essential early-80s Japanese fusion LPs.
