A truly heavy 70s Japanese cinema set – not just Seppuku, but a whole reel of deep scenes, real room air, and sample-ready moments. This is the one that actually takes you back.
Unexpectedly heavy Japanese cinema theme compilation. Not a flat, modern re-recording – this King 2LP has real 70s room air, tape hiss, and wide stereo that sometimes feels almost psychedelic. Strings and percussion bloom in the room, and when the brass hits (esp. on Yojimbo/Shinobi no Mono) you get that slightly overdriven, almost noise-like texture collectors love. This is why people buy original Japanese pressings, not later CDs.
