Anri “Timely!!” is a 1983 summer city pop / AOR classic for For Life Records, produced and arranged by Toshiki Kadomatsu with his signature resort-style sound. “Windy Summer” and “Stay By Me” deliver breezy light-mellow grooves, while “Cat’s Eye (New Take)” and “A Hope From Sad Street” bring danceable boogie and late-night slow-jam moods with crisp, sample-friendly drums and synths. Essential 80s Japanese city pop – and this copy even includes the original 1983 calendar insert.
