Long before Japanese ambient became a global digging category, Akira Itoh was already exploring this territory. Environmental sounds, floating electronics, human voices and deep spiritual space meet in this beautiful 1978 recording.

Inner Light Of Life is far more than relaxation music. Akira Itoh carries the electronic DNA of Far East Family Band into a quieter and more inward world, blending environmental sounds, synthesizers, acoustic instruments and voices until the boundary between music and atmosphere almost disappears. “Mizu no Oto” and “Hikari kara no Seimei” are especially beautiful, spacious and deeply meditative. An early Japanese ambient treasure for listeners drawn to minimalism, spiritual music and deep listening.

Grade	Description
S (Sealed)	Still sealed in factory wrap. Never played.
M (Mint)	Perfect condition. Looks unplayed with no signs of use. Typically used for records that are brand new or opened but never played.
EX (Excellent)	Very clean. May have light scuffs or hairline marks, but plays perfectly.
VG+ (Very Good Plus)	Minor wear, light surface noise, no major flaws — a solid average used copy.
VG (Very Good)	Visible wear and surface noise. Plays through without skipping.
G+ (Good Plus)	Heavily used. Significant wear or scratches, but still playable.
