Foundational 1981 King/Starchild volume that already includes the 1954 Godzilla suite on Side B.
Volume 1 of the 10-LP “Eiga Ongaku Zenshu” is interesting because it doesn’t start with only kaiju but with Ifukube’s wider film work from the late 40s to the 50s (Ginrei no Hate, Anatahan, Children of Hiroshima), and then it lands on the 1954 Godzilla suite at the end of Side B. For overseas buyers this is an easy entry: early post-war film music + the original Godzilla theme on the same disc, in the original 1981 King/Starchild pressing. If you stock several volumes, this should be shown as “Vol.1 – includes Godzilla.”
