Early Akiko Wada at her rawest. Heavy Japanese R&B on the A-side, backed with the killer soul-groove dancer “Boy & Girl.” A superb 1969 double-sider.

One of the essential early Akiko Wada singles. “Doshaburi no Ame no Naka de” delivers her huge, bluesy voice over tough late-60s Japanese R&B, but the real digger’s surprise is on the flip. “Boy & Girl” is a sharp, driving soul dancer with the kind of groove that makes this 7-inch much more than a famous kayō single. Two sides of raw early Japanese soul on one record.

S (Sealed)	Still sealed in factory wrap. Never played.
