Silky late-80s West Coast AOR with a city-pop sheen. Etsuko Sai cuts these songs in Los Angeles under producer Tim Weston, with recording direction by Kazuo Matsui and mix/engineering by Michael Verdick at Channel Recording (add’l work at Sunset Sound). The result is plush electric-piano chords, tight mid-tempo grooves, and airy background arrangements that sit right between adult-contemporary and urban AOR—clean intros and well-separated parts make several sections sample-friendly.
